I bought these to replace a full hood for periodic welding tasks, and I'm extremely pleased with them overall. I paid less than $10 with shipping, they were to me in a reasonable time, and they were pretty much exactly as described.
Pros: The flip-up outer lenses are extremely handy, much easier than my full hood. The lenses are mounted behind a simple retaining ring that required no special tools to remove, thus allowing me to swap out with other lenses of the appropriate size.
Cons: The clear inner lenses are cheap plastic and have an odd bevel along the edge that distorts your view.
I simply removed the inner elements. I'll be replacing them at some point with the glass from a pair of UV photography filters (such asTiffen 52mm UV Protection Filter), since impact resistance is not a requirement. I haven't measured yet, but the lenses appear to be approximately 52mm.
In my opinion the price is definitely right on these goggles, and I surely recommend them.

Overall there were a lot of things I liked about this goggle. The wide vision is great, I felt like my vision was not impaired at all. Also, the venting worked very well! No sweaty face or fogging. For me, the downside was fit. I am a woman with a medium size head and they gapped around the side of the face. In addition, after 3 hours in the lab they left the worst "goggle ring" I have ever had. I would not call them "extra soft". It was still visible after 3 hours! I liked the construction of this goggle and on someone with a larger head they would probably fit just fine.

An electrical company I was working for at the time issued us these because our site required us to wear them at all times. Over 60 employees wore them every day for two years if I remember right. No one complained about the fit (or the optics???) but they are not anti fog after you clean them. No safety glasses are anit fog, anit scratch or UV protective long term (and depending on how many times you clean them) except the vary high end ones (those being the ones people that don't do any actual work ware if you get what I`m sayng) They are pretty light weight and that helps a lot with the comfort. I'm not going to say they don't get scratch up. Every pare of safely glasses I've ever owned eventually get scratches unless you baby them like they are a pair of nice sunglasses.
Safety glasses are made for the express purpose of getting beat up and scratched and so far these are the cheapest ones I can find that are still light and comfortable. Meaning all it takes is a trip to lowes with full pocket of change to get a new pair.

These glasses are intended for use with UV light sources and greatly improve the contrast of items which luminesce when viewed with UV light, such as forensic or cleaning applications. I would not recommend them if you just want to protect your eyes from UV radiation in sunlight, because of the extreme yellow tint, but they work amazingly well for their intended purpose.

I purchased these with a UV Flashlight to help detect cat pee. They work pretty well enhancing the detection of reflected UV. Unfortunately they seem to be mislabeled on Amazon. They don't block UV at the 99.9% level as the description seems to indicate. Instead, their main purpose is to enhance the pass through of UV light so as to enhance the detection of flouresence -- not shield your eyes from UV light (that would seem be the exact opposite purpose of why they were created!)
They are Protecting Glasses in the sense that they'll protect your eyes physically from sawdust or light object projectiles. Oh well, that's what reviews are for.

Very comfortable and reasonably priced. The elastic straps are a bit harder to adjust, but once they're the right size, I don't think they're going anywhere.
They needed a small amount of breaking in at first, so I wore them around the house for a while.
After a half hour or so, I completely forgot I was even wearing them and foolishly left to the store. Needless to say, I was a bit embarrassed. But also very happy about my purchase.
I actually just out having a bit of fun, playing a game of airsoft. Now, my buddy has a 440 fps SD700 with superior aim (Almost). He shot for my chest but it lofted into my eye, leaving barely a mark at all on the lens. But then he shot an aluminum can that simply punched through it the same way a needle does to skin. That's when I decided to write a review for these guys.
I highly recommend these!

I bought to keep dirt, dust and bugs out of my eyes while mowing. It has preformed as good or better than expected. I have also used when operating a weed trimmer. It keeps almost everything from getting into my eyes. Also used when operation a table saw. The only drawback is they can fog up a bit when it is hot and I sweat. Not sure if other models would work better for that, but they were not designed for work usage. I would probably buy again.

I would love to give these glasses a good rating as they are great for what they do in terms of safety and sun protection, but they have a major flaw. The way they are shaped makes for a hard time on your eyes if your have any kind of sensitivity with your vision. What I mean by this is that the shading and shape of the lenses make your eyes see too different things if you aren't looking straight ahead.
There is a vignetting "fish eye" distortion when looking to the sides that regular safety glasses don't have, and the change in the shading from left to right instead of top to bottom means one eye may be looking through a lighter part of one side that is distorted slightly while the other is looking through a darker part that is slightly distorted the opposite way. Led to immediate headaches when trying to where these glasses for more than a few minutes at a time. Some people may never notice this as a few I asked to try them out seemed to have no problem, but a few others noticed the same thing. Take your chances if you buy these, they are cheap enough to give it a shot. If you don't see the issue, then they are great, if you do they are not useable.
